Meet the Doctor

Dr. Amogh Eye Hospital is the realization of a vision held by Dr. Amogh Harsoor, a skilled and dedicated Ophthalmologist specializing in modern eye care, with experience in General Ophthalmology and Phacoemulsification (modern cataract surgery).

A native of Kalburagi, Dr. Amogh earned his MBBS from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College and his MS in Ophthalmology from Khaja Bandanawaz Institute of Medical Sciences. He further honed his expertise with a Fellowship in General Ophthalmology and Phacoemulsification (F.G.O.) at M.M. Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli, followed by advanced training in Phacoemulsification at Sankara Eye Hospital, Bengaluru.

With over 2,000 Small Incision Cataract Surgeries (SICS) and 350+ Phacoemulsification surgeries to his credit, Dr. Amogh combines precision with patient-centered care. Alongside his clinical practice, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalburagi, shaping future ophthalmologists while pursuing research.
